  • Overview and Responsibilities

    SUMMARY:

    • Nickelodeon Animation has an exciting new opportunity for a Production Coordinator to work on a CG animated sitcom. We are seeking candidates who are familiar with the CG animation pipeline and Unreal Engine 4. The Production Coordinator is responsible for being the know all around each script and it’s breakdowns, manage the physical and virtual props, and provide general assistance to creative and technical leads.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provides general assistance to production employees, artists, coordinators, production managers and producers
    • Create script breakdowns and update as revisions are done
    • Create a master library of physical props that have been used in the production
    • Work with Asset Manager to ensure all props, sets, and characters are accounted for
    • Maintain record on all current and final assets
    • Assist in the creation of various documents, files, orders, scripts, and research material
    • Assist with logistics during the shoot week
    • Complete special projects as needed or requested
    • Take notes during creative and technical meetings

    Basic Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

    • 2+ years of experience working in television animation, feature animation, or video games
    • Previous experience working in CG Animation
    • Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with production team including Producers, Directors and artists via written and verbally
    • High organized and detail oriented
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills
    • Proven ability to meet deadlines and keep a team on schedule
    • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
    • Is a team player, who genuinely enjoys working with others
    • Must have a positive attitude and encourage collaboration

    DESIRED SKILLS:

    • Previous Experience with Unreal Engine
    • Previous Experience with Maya
    • Interested in Game Engine technology and motion capture
    • Previous Experience with Perforce or Source Control
